Obituary of Miriam Pellecier

Miriam Pellecier, 76 of New York City, passed on May 8, 2021 in Tucson, Arizona.

Miriam was born in Cataño, Puerto Rico and came to New York City at age five. She attended Charles E. Hughes High School in New York in which she would meet the love of her life. She married Edwin Pellecier and spent 55 years and 8 months and 4 days together.

Miriam and Edwin arrived to Tucson in July 1994 and in May 1997 made their final residence in Oro Valley. She would always say she was a “New Yorker.”

Miriam devoted her time to her family. She enjoyed gardening and her view of the mountains. She loved to talk and laugh as her friends called her Mom instead of Miriam. She was kind, gentle and loving.

Miriam is survived by her spouse Edwin, children Marisol A. Pellecier, Edwin A. Pellecier and grandchildren Kaitlyn A. Rivera and Brendan L. Rivera.

A memorial mass will be held Friday May 28, 2021 at 11am at Saint Odilia Catholic Church 7570 N Paseo Del Norte, Tucson, AZ 85704
