Jerry was the best father-in-law a girl could hope to get. When I asked for a wheelbarrow for my birthday, he never questioned it -- of course I would want a wheelbarrow! When we needed to move 2 tons of rock from the front yard to the backyard in the oppressive heat of July, he came over at the crack of dawn ready to go. He was equally happy hiking hills as relaxing with family and friends, cooking a traditional Easter dinner or eating out at a Mexican place, or staying in upgraded hotel rooms (courtesy of he and his wife's casino outings) as in dive motels on roadtrips with his son.
Words cannot express the grief I feel. He was the finest father-in-law, dad, husband, grandfather, friend, boss, coach, and mentor anyone could hope to know. The love for his friends and family cannot be understated and his humor, guidance, and wisdom will be forever missed. Love you, Dad.
