Obituary of Silvina Josephine Anna

Silvina J. Anna, (94) lovingly known as Sally, passed away peacefully at home on April 15, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born and grew up in Belleville, Illinois and was the second daughter of John and Augusta (nee Lugge) Zacharski. She met her loving husband, Leroy, in Belleville and they were married in 1948. They were married 72 plus years and were always seen together.

She enjoyed sewing, drawing, crafts, reading, playing games, bingo, socializing and visiting with family and friends. She had a dry sense of humor and was very funny, and was a friend to everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband Leroy, 3 children and their spouses, Lori Blikre (Tom), Gary Anna (Josie), Lisa Carr (Mike), her brother and wife, Edward Zacharski (Kathleen), four grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation and the burial will be private. Memorial donations can be to the charity of one’s choice in place of flowers.
