We came to know the Gorskis through Cub Scouts, but our lives were touched by Bill & Marjorie long after our Cub Scouting days. I loved getting to know both of you when our boys/grandsons were in Cub Scouts together. Your support of them and the organization was always felt. I still remember Alex singing "Its a Grand Old Flag" at one of our meetings, taught to him by his grandfather. It is one of my favorite memories. Years later, Bill/Andy/Mr. Gorski took our oldest son under his wings and taught him about locksmithing. This experience is what gave him his first job in college - the facilities department hired him on the spot when they heard that he'd worked in a lock shop. This past year, Mr. Gorski once again took one of our sons in and gave him his first job. Not because he needed someone, but because of the kind of man Mr. Gorski was. Our son's favorite times at work were when he could go out on a job with Mr. Gorski and visit with him on the ride. He learned a lot and Mr. Gorski's influence will always be with him. There is truly a hole in our hearts with the loss of a great man.

Many, many years ago I met Bill while on a bowling league. They were taking nominations for President of the league and Bill announced he would nominate me just as I was walking in the door. I said "I don't think so"!!, which then started a lifelong friendship. We were so honored to have known Bill. I enjoyed the times I worked alongside of him and learned so much. We, and the whole Tucson community, will miss this honest, trustworthy businessman, friend, father and grandfather. His involvement with his family and his grandsons was ongoing. Our hearts break and our deepest condolences to each of you from the east side G's.

I will forever be grateful to Bill for giving me a chance to learn how to work hard and with ethics at a time when I really needed to learn that. I was a young, dumb kid and he took the time to pass on his skills. I’ll miss him. Warmest condolences from Michigan and the Kaschimer tribe.
