Obituary of Donna Jean Fought

Donna Jean Achison Fought died on February 22, 2021 in her home in Marana, Arizona surrounded by her family. She is survived by her six children, John (Mary) Fought, Janise (Jim) Leuenberger, Chris (Tracy) Fought, Jeff (Cynthia) Fought, Leslie (Julian) Lee and Julie (Rick) Ellis; twenty grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. Donna was 89 years old when she passed. Donna attended Brigham Young University where she met her husband (John Allen Fought Jr.) of 63 years. She and John were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. Donna had many talents as she was an avid crafter, loved to play tennis, was artistic, an excellent cook, and enjoyed being part of the community. There wasn’t a time that she wouldn’t drop everything, just to help someone in need, even if it meant just listening to them. Most importantly she loved her family. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for any of her children. While raising six children, Donna still made time for the church volunteering in the capacities of Temple Worker, Teacher, and Leader.
