Obituary of Frederick Murrietta Francisco
October 18, 1938 – December 06, 2020
DAD, you are no longer in pain, you are now at peace and flying high with the eagles, riding horses in the open fields and dancing with joy to be reunited with your Mom and Dad, brother, sisters, two sons – Richard and Reynaldo and my Mom – Valentina.
Fred left this world on December 06, 2020 at home in Tucson, Arizona, as he lived his life quiet with dignity and grace, surrounded by the ones closest to his heart. He was a hard-working man that provided for his family as a young man to his last days. He served in the US Army and worked at Anamax Mines in Sahuarita, Az until it closed and moved on to work for Pima County Flood Control department where he retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Happy to have retired he had plans to enjoy his life carefree instead he took on the big role to raise his grandchildren – Lauren and Brian and most recent his great-grandson, Frederic and he never complained about taking on this task. His grandchildren, great grandchildren, newly born great-great granddaughter were his pride and joy!
Fred lived a simple and humbled life, he enjoyed horse racing, rodeos and watching baseball whether live or on TV. His favorite shows were The Andy Griffith Show, I love Lucy, America’s Funniest Home Video. He enjoyed his Mexican sweet bread and eating his ice cream sandwiches outside with the kids. His laughter and presence will be greatly missed.
