Obituary of Tyson H. Waltke

Tyson H Waltke
1974   -    2020

Tyson H Waltke had a fervor for life and came whooshing into it as swiftly as he left it. On October 13, 2020 while riding his motorcycle, Tyson was unexpectedly killed in a traffic accident.

Tyson leaves behind his mother, Lynn; sister,Taya; father, Grant; stepmom, Jean; girlfriend, Amber; and many loving friends, good buddies, former colleagues, and countless acquaintances.

Tyson was always happiest when he was helping others. Whether it was getting somebody’s 4x4 out of a jam, repairing a vehicle/motorcycle, doing construction related work like tiling a fireplace, creating a cement slab for under a washing machine, or helping people with a variety of odd "fix-it" jobs, Tyson's God given talent was his resourcefulness and ability to fix just about anything.

In spite of his own difficulties, Tyson frequently put others before himself, and would have given the shirt off his back if he knew it would assist the other person. He was an angel of mercy to many and will be remembered with love and gratitude.

Tyson enjoyed going camping, playing golf, riding motorcycles (as a kid BMX bikes), driving and repairing Toyota pickups, cracking jokes, creating new vocabulary from existing languages, playing board games, solving puzzles, creating limericks, and listening to all kinds of different types of music via one of his many speaker boxes. He fondly remembered all his teachers from primary through high school. Tyson had an uncanny ability to be comfortable in just about any situation, and with people and from all walks of life.

Gone from this life far too soon, Tyson will be greatly missed. He will continue to live on, eternally, in the hearts and minds of all those whose lives he touched.

“Never, never, never give up”. Winston Churchill
