She met William Daniel Mack (Bill), the love of her life, in elementary school and they married at St. Andrew's Church in Chicago on November 20, 1948, after Bill returned from serving in World War II. Their love endured for decades, taking them from Chicago to Phoenix, Prescott and finally Tucson, Arizona. They were rarely apart, especially in their later years, and thoroughly enjoyed each other’s company. Jane and Bill raised five children, Danny, Michael, Tim, Joanne (Jeff Robertson) and Julie (Ken Dunlap) Mack. Jane loved keeping up with the lives of her eleven grandchildren - Aubrey (Dunlap) McInturf (Jeff McInturf), William Navarro, Kevin, Madeline and Mary Dunlap, Sarah Jane (Wilkinson) McNamara (Dhakniel McNamara), Evan Wilkinson (Kimber Dorman Wilkinson), and Taylor, Mack, James and Robert Robertson. Jane’s eleven great-grandchildren - Shamus, Seth, Leo, Augie and Penelope McNamara, Luke, Avery, Grant and Jack Wilkinson, and Cailin and Jacob McInturf loved their Grammy Jane immensely. Jane applied her excellent fashion sense to her career at Bullock’s department store, where she won several sales awards and was a favorite among her co-workers and customers. Among many things, Jane will be remembered for her irreverent sense of humor, lunch and shopping dates with her kids and grandkids, her love of reading, countless family Christmases at her home, and her unbounded energy, which was an inspiration to all who knew her. Jane is preceded in death by her son Danny (1969), husband, William (2006), and son Tim (2011).
