To Eldora's dear family,
My heart is filled with sadness for all of you as you say "goodbye" to the dearest sister and mom. When I heard the news I thought, "How much I will miss her--just knowing she is present."
My sweetest memory of Eldora is when I was probably 4 years old. She lived in an apartment at the time. Apparently my Mom and Dad, Elva and Frank Howard, had left me with her while they ran errands. Eldora took all the groceries from her cabinets so that I could play grocery with her.
She was very special to my family--to both Mom and especially Aunt Bessie she was a daughter and friend. To me she represented the sweet and loving people of my early childhood.
I wish I could be present in Tucson celebrating her love and faithfulness and being with all of you!
