Dear Jeanne, Sara, Melissa, Lynne, Suzanne, grandchildren, great grandchildren. The passing of Leon leaves a big empty spot in our view of life. I have known Leon for over forty seven years. Leon's insurance office was located on the seventh floor of a new Tucson office building and my travel agency was located next door. We would, sometimes, share the elevator together and discovered we had something in common, we both made frequent trips to Utah for family purposes. So we would discuss advice for the best roads, hotels , etc., to take. Later, Jeanne was to work at my travel agency. We became more and better acquainted and took to traveling the world together. We enjoyed many countries, cities, events, cruise ships, etc., and dining together. We always knew what Leon was going to order for desert no matter how many choices there were on the menu..., Chocolate Ice Cream Sundae! I/we all admired his loving concern and devotion to his family of 63 years. Our memory of him will live on, with much fondness, for the rest of our lives but the big empty spot will still be there.
