Obituary of Kimberly Ann Bolek

Kimberly Ann Espy-Bolek, 61, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully February 3rd, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia and is the daughter of the late Brooks L. Espy Sr. and Rose M. Hoover-Espy. She grew up in Williamstown, WV, then began her journey in the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic where she met her husband Frank. After retiring from the military she and Frank made their home in Tucson, AZ where she began her second career as a 911 dispatcher at AMR, Inc. Kim never met a stranger, and was a mom, a mentor, and a friend to anyone she met. She would lend a hand, an ear or a shoulder at any moment. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy, playing bingo, cooking and had a flare for making any situation an adventure. She cherished the time and memories made with her family. She has a left a legacy of love and positivity that will carry on for eternity in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her. She had a vast knowledge about anything and everything. Her laughter was infectious and her would smile would brighten everyone's day. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Frank A. Bolek Jr., her 4 children, Angie (Aaron) Brady, Frank A. Bolek III, Gail (Matt) Taylor and Jana Bolek, all of Tucson. In addition, 5 grandchildren, Riley, Frank IV, Lily, Little Monster, and Lexi. Also, survived by 3 brothers, Brooks (Shelia) Espy,Jr, Kerry (Missy) Espy, Richard (Lisa) Espy, and one sister, Rose (Chesley) Wilson and many other kindred spirits. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and one sister, Barbara "Tillie" Espy. Services will be held on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 at Adair Funeral Home on Dodge in Tucson, AZ. We will being receiving friends and family at 2:00pm with celebration of life services with full Military Honors to start at 2:30pm, Rev. Stephen Main officiating. In Kim's honor and her love of life, We are encouraging guests to dress in bright colors as she would truly love that.
