Hi Cathy, Billy, Mary, Johnny, Patty, and Betsy, This is Alice (Michael) Evans of San Diego. I grew up in Le Roy with my parents, Dick and Pat, and my sister Peggy. Our families were great friends. I remember going to your home in Le Roy and thinking it was a castle! I also visited your home in Bloomington on Empire Street on several occasions. I believe I was standing in front of your home when LBJ's motorcade passed by and I caught a glimpse! Jackie was such a sweet and fun-loving mom. I remember her wonderful laugh. What an impressive life she led! She was certainly so proud of all of her children! I married Mark Evans after college and we have two daughters, Ashleigh and Whitney. (That makes me think... while on a date, we saw your mom and dad coming out of the theater in Bloomington. Your mom called out to me. The movie was Jaws, I think! :) Mark and I also have three grandchildren. We moved to San Diego in 1983 and love it here. We send our deepest condolences. You had an amazing mom!
