Obituary of Charles John Leggett

Charles John Leggett, age 95, died January 19, 2020. He was born in the United Kingdom and moved to the United States in 1947 after serving in the Royal Navy in WWII. He was educated in England and graduated from Munson Business School in San Francisco in 1948. He was a financial officer in San Francisco, New York City, and Chicago. An active community volunteer he earned the American Red Cross Clara Barton Award, the Boys Scouts of America Burton Award, Vigil Order of the Arrow, and Silver Beaver. His last effort was a twenty-seven year volunteer at Tucson Medical Center and was an active member of the YMCA. Mr. Leggett is survived by his wife Joyce of 63 years, Son Charles (Betsy) Granddaughter Charlesy and Grandson Daniel, Bother Peter (Jacqueline) and many relatives in the United Kingdom.
