Obituary of Austin Isaac Lewis

Austin Lewis, 22, of Oro Valley Arizona, passed away on December 5th, 2019 at his home. He was born on December 4th, 1997 to Jeff and Lori Lewis in Layton Utah. He graduated high school at Ironwood Ridge. He quickly started employment with Park and Shade, working his way up to Shop Forman. This is where he began his joy of welding and working with his crew and bosses. He loved making things better at work. Austin is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed all things outdoors, especially Mount Lemon. He earned his Eagle Scout Award, with his cumulating project of adding signs to Honeybee Canyon. He loved driving his lifted truck and bumping to his tunes. He enjoyed working on his truck and helping his friends on theirs. Austin was our gentle giant who enjoyed helping his friends and family. He was eager to open a door for a stranger and help stranded motorists along his path. Many times pulling them out of situations or getting their vehicles going for them. Austin is survived by his loving parents, his brother Devan, Sister-In-Law Ruth, Sister Courtney, Brother-In-Law Chris (his bearded brother), and Nephew Maverick. Along with many loving Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, and several friends and church members. He was proceeded in death by his Grandma and Grandpa Lewis along with his Great Grandma Williams. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 14th at 11:00 am, and Funeral Service starting at 12:00 pm. at the LDS Church located at 55 Arrowsmith Dr Oro Valley, proceeded by a funeral service at the same location beginning at 12:00 pm. With Bishop Brent Crowther officiating. Burial will take place in the Binghampton Cemetery, 4001 N Alvernon Way. Online condolences can be given at adairfuneralhomes.com
