Obituary of Leona M. Schuster

Leona Mae Schuster was born in Reading, MN on October 12, 1921 to Arthur and Minnie Webber-Zinnel. In 1933, Leona moved with her family to Hadley, MN where she helped her parents run a restaurant. In 1943, she married Leonard Schuster. They moved to Worthington, MN and remained in there until 1967 when they moved to Ocala, FL to get away from the cold winters. In Ocala, Leona worked as a cashier for 17 years at Winn Dixie Supermarket. Upon retiring, she and Leonard moved to Tucson, AZ to be closer to family. In Tucson, she was a faithful member at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, where she joined the Altar Guild and became director of the Guild. Leona is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Leonard Schuster, and son Keith Schuster. Leona leaves behind her son, Gary Schuster and wife Carol, daughter Diane Hendricksen, and daughter-in-law Christine Schuster; grandchildren Stephanie Moore, Kerri McKenney, Scott Schuster, Steven Schuster and Jenna Thiel; great grandchildren Madison McKenney and Evan Thiel. Leona will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. Leona wanted all to know how much she loved you. Arrangements by Adair Funeral Home.
