Obituary of Richard Daniel Carreon

We celebrate the life of Richard Daniel Carreon born September 27, 1952 to Walter Smith Carreon and Ethel Wall Carreon. Richard joined his family and friends in heaven on November 4, 2019. Richard began studying music at the early age of 5 years old. His love for the piano followed him through the first 25 years of life. He studied early on with Hannah Roe (Roger Williams a student of hers) and other greats. Upon graduating from Canyon del Oro High School, Tucson, AZ in 1969 he continued his piano studies in scholarship to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, San Francisco, CA. Upon completion of the conservatory he chose not to go the concert piano route and became Director of Public Relations for the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco California. Richard later became a Talent Agent for the Brebner Talent Agency in the City working under Ann Brebner. After successful years Richard bought the agency from Ms. Brebner and successfully ran the Agency for 10 years. Richard left San Francisco to return to his desert home of Oro Valley, AZ and worked several years for the Fairwinds Desert Pointe working as Assistant General Manager and finally Concierge retiring in 2018. Richard was very loving, considerate, and humorous with a zest for life touching spirits along the way. Richard was very easy to talk to and was a great listener. He loved to laugh and make people laugh. He always remembered people's birthdays and had a card in the mail. Richard loved people and people loved Richard. Richard is survived by his brother Ronald Joseph Carreon, sister in law Victoria Lynne Carreon, brother David Jeffery Carreon sister in law Danielle Christine Carreon, Nephews Daniel Adam Carreon and Joseph Christian Carreon, cousins Mrs. Brenda Llanes and husband Frank, and Miss Ann Montano. Richard's lifelong friends, Michele Lyons, Leanna and Fred Roberts, and James Cutfield were close and inspirational to Richard.
