Obituary of Charleen Margret Ruiz

Charleen Margret Ruiz October 12, 1936, to October 20 2019 Charleen Margret Ruiz (Wilson) passed away on October 20, 2019, at Foothills Rehabilitation Center in Tucson Arizona at the age of 83. She is the last of, the Clara and Charles Wilson family born on traditional Columbus Day October 12, 1936, at Saint Mary's Hospital, a lifetime native of Tucson, and a student of the first four year graduating class of Salpointe High School. After graduating she married the late William Albert Cornett having four children from him, Debora Brown, Cynthia Bass, Bonnie, and Chuck Cornett. They divorced after 25 years of marriage when she took a job at Walgreens moved up to become an assistant manager where she met her soul mate, Robert Ruiz, who she married on one of their many trips to Las Vegas. Charleen will join her beloved husband in her death along with her mother and father and two younger brothers. She is survived by her daughters, son, and step-daughter, Debora Brown, Cynthia Bass, Bonnie and Charles Cornett, Mary Falls, and her brother Owen Nugent, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Please join us in the celebration of her life at St. Francis Cabrini Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at 11am and following we will go to Our Lady of the Desert where we will say our last good-byes to her.
