Obituary of Brian Frederick Rumsey

Brian was an architect. He loved designing structures, especially unique houses. He practiced for over 30 years in Greater Tucson, leaving behind a legacy of attractive buildings that will be enjoyed for years to come. He spent his youth in upstate NY and Ohio. After receiving architecture degrees from Miami University and the University of Arizona, he fell in love with Tucson and located there permanently. Brian was especially proud of sons Pat and Chris, daughter-in-law Danielle, and stepson Richard. He and Courtenay married in 2016, a great match from the beginning. Brian is also survived by mother Helen, brother Steve, and sister Lorene. He is missed by all that knew him.
