Oh Brother, where do I begin? From day one our hearts were like those best friend necklaces we got as kids, you'd have one half and I'd have the other. When we were together, the halves came together. Now, I just have one half of the heart. You were always my protecter, my partner in crime, my best friend, the other half of my soul. No matter what you did, I hope you know that never changed. I remember being in elementary school and we had to do a paper on who our hero was. While every other kid picked their dads, I picked you. You were only 2 1/2 years older than me, but I always knew my hero was within you. I wish you weren't in so much pain while you were here and could see yourself how I saw you. I'm forever grateful that I got to spend the last few days with you and got to hear you laugh one last time. I wish I would have stayed longer that day, talked to you some more, I wish I could have taken away your pain. It's not fair that you're gone. It's not fair. I love you more than anything and I hope you always knew that. Watch over Jaidyn and Haylee and make sure we guide them in the right direction in life. Jaidyn always looked up to you, make sure he does right by you. Haylee asks why you had to go to heaven, I wish I could answer her, because I don't know. Just make sure her heart knows how much you loved her. I love you forever and always, Brother Bear.

I remember when Josh And his cousin, Tara, came to New York with Frank and Midge (grandparents) to visit when they were small...maybe three or four. They were so cute..and so good! We had a wonderful time with them! I have pictures if I can find them. I had the honor to be the first relative to get to hold Josh a short time after he was born!! It’s hard to believe that it was 37 years ago in Colorado! Josh..you will never be forgotten!! Love!! G. Aunt Kay

I have too many memories to count. You were my big brother, my savior, my best friend, my everything. You never saw yourself the way others did and I so wish you could have. You were truly one of a kind. You had the biggest heart and would do anything for your family and friends. I promise to Always make sure Lilyanna knows how great her daddy was and how much you loved her. I’m beyond grateful you gave me the opportunity to raise her and give her the best life possible. You knew she deserved the best and would be taken care of forever. I will never forget the countless nights of your watching me when we were young and you painting my nails, even allowing me to paint yours. You were truly a great brother and I’m so very sorry you had so many demons in your life. I wished every second or every day I could take your pain away. I’m so grateful we had to the opportunity to share laughs and I love you during your last days. I know how hard you fought. I will miss you every second of every day. I truly hope you are at peace now and with grandma watching over us. I love you with every bone in my body brother and I miss you terribly.

Josh you will never be forgotten. I never got to know you well but know your family well. I pray that your experience they have shared will save lives from addiction. Your pain free now and pray for strength for your family to get through this difficult time. Josh you will never be forgotten. I never got to know you well but know your family well.
