Dustin, I can only hope that you somehow understood, in your uniquely humble way, how incredibly important you were to so many who knew you. Your friendship was genuinely unequaled in that words were often unnecessary because your actions always spoke volumes. A better human I’ve yet to meet. When long chats ensued it wasn’t unusual to chase topics with a depth amazing for a soul so young. Your brilliant mind couldn’t always be hidden as I suspect you would have preferred. I wish your dance could have lasted much, much longer but I now realize that ‘standing outside the fire’ may have left voids only you could foresee.
