Stan was a great, humble, humorous, and multifaceted. If Stan was proud, he was proud of his family, Judy, who has gone before him, Karen, Ryan (& Jill), Kaleen, Meghan, and sister Bev. His joy at your accomplishments and activities, volleyball and Cubs games, graduations, trip to Argentina marked his life. He was a good friend to many. He was a horseman and loved his Buddy, whose gravestone carries a message to the effect "He is not here, but gone to the head of the trail, where he is waiting." San Xavier del Bac was a special and sacred place for him. He was a dedicated docent and trainer. Outstanding as a school counselor and director of counselors, he was honored by his high school and university as a Hall of Famer, and outstanding alumnus. He was a connector, and has left friends everywhere. I am blessed to be counted among his amigos. I join you in grieving the sudden loss of this special person, dear family member, and friend.
