Obituary of Gary E. Warfield

Gary E. Warfield, 80, of Tucson, AZ, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his Parents and Brother, William Warfield. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda of Tucson, AZ; Son, Gary E. (Shawn) Warfield II, their children, Cameron and Angela Warfield of Kearney, MO; Son, Scott E. Warfield of Tucson, AZ, former Daughter-In-Law, LeAnn Brogan, and their children, Jordan and Dylan Warfield of Seattle, WA; His Daughter, Kimberly A. (Tony) Stewart of Hartwell, GA and her Son, Rob Coleman of Simpsonville, SC; Nieces, Connie (Denis) Callahan of Swampscott, MA & Sandra (Eugene) Dobies of Chicago, IL; And several Cousins & Friends. Mr. Warfield was born December 21, 1938 to Hansel and Ruth Warfield of Hamilton, OH. After he served in the U.S. Air Force, he was employed as a Policeman and a Fireman in Ohio. He then began a career as a Corporate Pilot for the Upjohn/Pfizer Company for 30 years in Kalamazoo, MI. He loved flying and never felt like it was a job. He married Linda C. Flisher on April 27, 1968, they lived in Hamilton, OH for a short time before making their home in Kalamazoo, MI for 30 years. They moved to Tucson, AZ after his retirement in 1998. He loved his family, Arizona, music, he played the guitar & loved to dance. He lived on an inland lake in Michigan for 25 years, he enjoyed being on the water, boating, water skiing, and swimming. He had a great sense of humor, a beautiful smile and a sparkle in his eyes. Mr. Warfield was cremated and requested no Funeral or Memorial Service.
