Obituary of Rebecca Dunn Miller

Although time stops for no-one, it slowed down a moment on Monday, June 24, 2019, during the peaceful passing of Rebecca "Becky" Miller, but for those who loved her, the moment of her passing feels like an eternity. We take comfort knowing Becky lived her life with a full measure of spirituality, love, and kindness. Becky was born on August 19,1930, in Henderson, TX, to Alton H. and Mary Emma Dunn. Fortunately, for her offspring, she emulated the admirable traits of her mother and did not follow the path of her father who pursued a career as a debonair bank robber. No worries, this is our only skeleton! Adorned with dazzling blue eyes, a beautiful smile, and gorgeous hair, Becky embraced a zest for life and truly never met a stranger. After marrying her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Gogle, she had four beautiful daughters, Dina Gail, Dona Jo, Becky Jean and Lisa Ann, six grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. Armed with a flair for public relations and knowledge from the business school she attended, Becky enjoyed successful careers as owner of two retail clothing stores, a candy making business and later as a real estate broker in Arizona and Texas. Becky is also survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Raymond E. Miller. Missing from our touch but leaving an indelible print on our lives, she blessed us with self confidence, a strong will and spirited nature .... much to the chagrin of our significant others! Welcome to the place where you belong, Becky, wrapped in a blanket of love from our Heavenly Father. Life was her song, and her song has ended..... her melody will remain in our hearts forever! A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019, 3:00 pm at Adair Funeral Home, Avalon Chapel, Oro Valley, AZ Reception will follow at Tohono Chul Garden Bistro, Wilson Room
