I met John back n 1966, at Hughes, John was just fresh out of School, what I remember, is John always seemed to have a shiner on Monday mornings from an argument over a pool game, John was very competitive, along with Al Marquez and "Tag" Taggart pool, bowling, ping pong, horseshoes etc. you name it, they bet on it. John grew into a strong responsible asset to Hughes and gave great support to many, many programs, I happened to be laid off in 1997, when I got a call, to return to Hughes and to work for John, it worked out well, It was truly a pleasure to have known John all these years and he will be greatly missed.
