Obituary of Jack Lee Hanson
Jack Lee Hanson, 85, of San Manuel, Arizona, passed away on March 21, 2019 in Tucson.
He was born on March 24, 1933 to Clarence and Lulu (Foltz) Hanson in Vernon, IL. He graduated in 1951 from Patoka High School in Patoka, IL.
Jack served in the military from 1951-1955, upon leaving the service he met and married Helen M. Trout on September 2, 1955.
Jack worked for Illinois Central Railroad for 25 years, owned/operated a trucking business for about 20 years. He also farmed, and drove a school bus for Centralia High School for many years before finally retiring and moving to Arizona in 2013 to be closer to family.
Jack is survived by his loving spouse Helen M. Hanson of 64 years, a daughter Rebecca R. Yubeta, son-in-law Manuel Yubeta, a granddaughter RaeLee N. Williams and spouse Stewart Williams, great granddaughter Adelaide M. Williams, Grandson Aaron Yubeta and Daniele, Grandson Randall Yubeta and Alyssa, Great granddaughters MacKenzie and Emily Yubeta, and great grandson Sammy, all from Arizona. Son David S. Hanson, daughter-in-law Pamela Hanson, grandson Christopher D. and Jill Hanson, great grandson Ethan Hanson all from Nevada. Great granddaughter Lilia Hanson, and great grandson Dylan Hanson from Okinawa.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Louis Gene Hanson.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 11:00 am at the Adair Funeral Home in the Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave, Oro Valley, Arizona, with Eddie "Bino" Sanchez officiating.
Cremation took place in the El Encanto Crematory -Nothern
