Obituary of Oleta Ruth Street

Oleta Ruth Street (94) of Tucson, passed away on March 20th 2019, at her home in Tucson, Az. She was born on August 18, 1924, to Frank and Bernice (Bradford) Bell in Italy, Texas. She attended school at Foreston High School and received a GED at Sunnyside High School in Tucson, AZ in 1969. Oleta worked many jobs including Control Data Corp, RCA Corp, and Gates Learjet Corp. On June 23rd, 1947 she married Roy M. Street in Waxahachie, Texas where they had their daughter Nancy Gail Street. Later they moved to Tucson, AZ and found Casas Adobes Baptist Church to be their church home. Oleta was survived by her sister Shirley Melton and brother Royal Bell and her grandson Patrick E Daily and his wife Terry Daily of Tucson, AZ. Her great-granddaughters Atiana L Daily, Sydny R Daily & Kylee K Daily as well as Kylee and Jose Vega's son Maddox J Vega, Oleta's Great-Great-Grandson. She was preceded in death by father and mother Frank and Bernice Bell, as well as her husband Roy M Street and daughter Nancy G Daily. Funeral Services will be held on March 29th, 2019, at 10am at Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson AZ, with Edgar Stanley officiating. Burial will take place in Holy Hope Cemetery.
