Dear Natalie, John & Rocco...Can't even imagine the loss you have suffered this past month but know that you have a loving Angel in Rocky still watching over you and will always be with you. Rocky was the very best boss I ever had in my entire career. A very special man that everyone loved. So caring, always dedicated to his family and so proud of his sons. My kids adored him, still talk about Mr. Sugameli with a smile and they are in their 40's. He will never be forgotten. Thank you for sharing him with us! May God Bless you and bring you peace. Our deepest sympathy and prayers for you all.

I send my sincere condolences to your family and friends. Having lost someone is a difficult moment of life. May God provide you the strength you need to cope with this difficult situation. The Bible promises a future hope of seeing our dead loved ones again very soon. John 5:28 says “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”

Mr. Sugameli was a wonderful principle at Butterfield. Both of my daughters attended the school while he was there. He treated everyone with respect. He will truly be missed. The Glenn Family

Pam and I were sorry beyond words to hear about Rocky's passing. Anyone who knows Marana USD knows that the district was built and sustained on the shoulders of incredible people. Rocky was one of the most dedicated, kind, and relational leaders the district has ever had. He was a man for all seasons in education; his kindness and genuine regard for people defined the best of him as a leader, a colleague, and as a friend to so many people. In the district's most difficult moments, Rocky put people first--and his arms could stretch wide enough to include students, families, teachers, and staff in his efforts to hold the best of MUSD intact. Above all, Pam and I wish peace to those feeling this loss so deeply, including of course Rocky's family and those who worked so closely with him for many years.

Rocky was a kind and affable man who easily put people at ease. He was fun to be around, had a million dollar smile and didn't take himself too seriously. Mentoring and loving people came naturally to him whether he was at work, riding his bike, or running errands. Natalie and family, may God comfort you and embrace each of you during this sad, sad time.

Dear Natalia and family, May God wrap His arms around you with abundant Grace to help you through this sad time. I have respected and admired Rocky as a colleague and a friend. I can't imagine being an administrator in MUSD without his encouragement, friendship, humor, and caring along the way. His decisions were always centered on the thousands of children and families he served, and measured against his steadfast values. He has been a great model for me.
