Obituary of Lorraine Elizabeth McCarthy

Lorraine Elizabeth McCarthy, 87, died Friday, March 1, 2019. Born January 5, 1932 near Fremont, Michigan, educated at Western Michigan University and married to Francis J. McCarthy in 1954 until his death in 2010. Lorraine was a skilled water-color artist, master crafter and expert cook. Her highly regarded sewing creations and gardening abilities were beyond extraordinary. Lorraine was dedicated to her family and is survived by her children, Dianne, Sean and Tom; and four grandchildren, Shannon, Justin, Cait and Michael. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., 8650 N. Shannon Rd., Tucson, AZ 85742. Burial will follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
