Obituary of Sara Grace Robinson

Sara was born on July 23, 1926, in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania on Queen Street and returned home to Jesus on September 17, 2018. She was inspired by the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps which led her to pursue a career in nursing. She graduated from the College of Nursing in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 1947. Sara met the love of her life, Ned Stanley Robinson, at the young age of 15 who proceeded her in death on September 3, 2010. They were married on November 20, 1946, after he returned as a wounded Veteran from World War II. In 1955, they relocated to Tucson, Arizona, where they raised their six children; Deborah (Juan), Kathryn, Sally (John), Julie (Michael), David (Robynne), and Maria. She also enjoyed her 25 grandchildren, 55 Great grandchildren and 1 Great Great grandchild. Sara's life was characterized by her devotion and service to her husband and family, the caring relationships she had with many close friends, and her love of reading and learning. Our lives have been forever blessed by the love and care of our wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed and remembered always, until we meet again in eternity. Private family viewing and Rosary will be held on Sunday September 23, 2018 at the Adair Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. Tucson, AZ 85704. Memorial services will be held on September 24, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 8650 N. Shannon Rd. Tucson, AZ 85742. Internment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery 3555 N. Oracle Rd. Tucson, AZ 85705.
