She moved to Arizona with her family in 1947. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 55 years Jack Riegel. She moved around the state following Jack in his construction career. She also worked at Kruger Manufacturing and at Wal-Mart in the snack bar. She is survived by 2 daughters, Karen (Mike) Thompson and Bonny Pearson. She has 3 grandchildren, Daniel (Janie) Thompson, Jackie Thompson and Jacob Pearson. One great grandchild Brenton Fought. She leaves behind 3 brothers, Gene (Shirley) Baumgartner, Butch (Carol) Baumgartner, Rory (Kris) Baumgartner and 1 sister, Sue (George) Lawson along with numerous nieces and nephews. She also had a very special life long friend Georgeann Smith. Kay enjoyed the Christmas season and was an avid baker and made sure that everyone had their favorite goodies every year until this past year when Alzheimer's robbed her of the ability to do what she loved. We will hold her memory very close to all of us. A special thank you to Casa de la Luz Hospice for their care.
