Obituary of Marilyn Elaine McDonald

MCDONALD, Marilyn Elaine, 81, of Tucson, passed away on January 29, 2018. She was born on September 8, 1936 to Paul and Fleta (Tibbitts) Bistline in Rock Falls, IA. She was an honored Air Force wife and was very proud of her military family members. She was an avid UofA basketball and St. Louis Cardinals fan. Marilyn is survived by her children, Brad (Cyndee) Gorkowski of Tucson, AZ; Bruce (Karen) of Cheyenne, WY; Karilyn (Wayne) Klipple of Oak Ridge, TN and Karen (Ed) DeLissio of Middletown, DE; stepchildren, Rick McDonald (Diane) of Tucson, AZ; Robert McDonald of Phoenix, AZ and Scott McDonald (Josie) of Phoenix, AZ; her sister, Ardyles (Danny) Bailey; brother Larry (Pat) Bistline; sister, Phyllis Mayberry and many loving grandchildren. She was preceded in death by father, Paul Donovan Bistline; mother, Fleta Bistline; husbands, Harlyn Gorkowski and Dale McDonald; brother, Marlin Bistline and grandson, Ryan Silsby. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, Oro Valley. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
