My deepest condolences for the lost of your loved one. Their is no doubt how much pain and suffering death causes us. In the past I have personally found relief and comfort in the promises we find in the Bible. We can find one of these promises in Revelation 21:4,5. Verse 4 referring to what God will do for us claims: " And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." The Bible contains many wonderful promises that provide us with true hope for the future. They let us see how much God cares and loves us and that it is his true desire to end all suffering (Psalms 37:9-11; James 1:13; Job 34:10-12).
