I send my deepest condolences to you during this difficult time. I can't even begin to imagine how painful this is for you all. May Jehovah God provide you the strength you need to cope with this difficult situation. The Bible provides hope that you will be reunited with your loved one at Acts 24:15, which states, "there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." I hope this message provides some comfort to friends and family, and I again offer my sincere condolences.

I'll never forget being a wee little 2nd grader and this giant of a man threatening to give me a size 13 trip to the moon. I couldn't help but fear him and respect him at the same time, and in time grow to admire him more than any man I have ever known. I will miss seeing his beaming smile in the back row of the church and the way he always made me feel like I was someone special to him, though I knew I was only one of a great many people he made feel that way. I could go on and on about what a great guy Coach was, but I'll just say...we love you Coach, and will miss you. God Bless all of the Martin Family

John and I were neighbors growing up in Waltham MA during the 40's. John always insisted on and liked to relate the following story. We were in our early teens at that time and often we biked to a resevoir four or five miles away.. According to John, Ted Williams and Bobby Doerr, both famous fishermen as well as geat baseball players for the Boston Red Sox were also there that day and he claimed that we had a long talk with them about fishing etc. Well I am a few months older than John and because I could not recall ever meeting these two boyhood heros, John claimed that I must have alzheimers disease.Well needless to say, we had many a discussion who had the memory loss.
Anyway, John was a great friend my whole life and I will miss him along with everyone else.

To Toni and the entire Martin family I wanted to share on behalf of Deb, John, Jessica and Kip our condolences on John's passing. John was the glue that gave us all on the east coast a family anchor to rely on. His love and enthusiasm for family was unconditional and he was truly a special individual with a lasting legacy. Our thoughts, prayers and love to you all.
