Obituary of Ruth T Hirt

Obituary Ruth T. Hirt died peacefully on July 1, 2017. She was born in Warrior Run, PA on March 22, 1922. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, she worked as an educator and therapist for many years in the Chicago area before retiring and relocating to Tucson in 1988. Her husband of 64 years and the love of her life, Warren, preceded her in death, as did her oldest child, Ruth Frerichs. She is survived by her son, Warren II and his wife Jane, her daughter Joan, and son David. She also leaves behind six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. To the world, she was merely one person, but to her family, she was the world. She will be cherished forever. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to either the Tucson Gospel Rescue Mission or the Southern Arizona Food Bank.
