Obituary of Patricia C. White

WHITE, Patricia C. age 85, died peacefully on May 30, 2017 with her first granddaughter, Michele by her side. Patricia was born August 12, 1931, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Thomas F. Collins and Elizabeth J. Collins. Patricia loved serving the Lord. She loved her entire family, but especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She looked forward to summers at Camp Pinerock and driving up to the cabin for Nazarene Church Camp. She missed going in 2016. In 1947, Patricia married John Harold White in Phoenix. He had recently returned as a WWII Navy veteran. They were married for 59 years at the time of Harold's passing, 11 years ago. Harold retired from El Paso Natural Gas after working for EPNG in Gila Bend, AZ, Gallup, NM, Williams, AZ, Marana, AZ and Algeria, South Africa for three years. Patricia worked for Marana High School for 10 years in the Accounting Dept. When her first granddaughter was four months old, Patricia was diagnosed with cancer and was told she had three months - two years to live. Her faith was so strong that she knew she would be able to see Michele and all future grandchildren grow up. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas F. Collins and Elizabeth J. Collins; her brother, Thomas Collins and her husband, John Harold White. She is survived by three daughters, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family includes daughters, Catherine (Terry) Green, Evelyn (Bob) Wasik and Patricia (John) Harris. She also leaves behind Cathy's daughter, Michele (Kevin) Sarullo and their children, Presley Kate and Carson Jake, along with Evie's son, Brian (Aya) Wasik and their son, Kento Brian. Also, Trish's daughter, Melissa Giroir Wilt and her son, Edward Anthony Escobar and daughters, Kaylee Lynn Wilt and Katelynn Marie Wilt along with Trish's son, Jeremy (Vanessa) Giroir and their children, Bailey Brooke, Talon Michael and Greyson Crue. She is also survived by her cousin, Charlotte Hickel, age 93 in Salem, WI. She is the only one who knew Patricia from birth to passing.
