Obituary of Matthew Richard Michela

MICHELA, Matthew "Matt" Richard passed away at home on May 21, 2017. He was born July 16, 1967 in San Diego, CA to Richard and Patricia Michela. Soon after, the family moved to Tucson, AZ where Matt lived most of his life. He graduated from Canyon Del Oro High School in 1985 and later moved back to CA to work for Hanson-Loren Co., Inc. Matt traveled the world in his job and experienced many grand, once in a lifetime adventures. Matt returned to AZ in 2000 to be close to his family and pursue entrepreneurial endeavors. He had a passion for nature and wildlife which brought him solace as did his faith in God. Family will always remember Matt's sparkling eyes and quick wit and how laughter filled the room when they were together. Matt leaves behind his mother, Patricia Michela; sister, Marcia (Phil) Iselin; step-mother, MaryLynn Michela; stepsisters, Wendy (Brian) Nathan, Kendahl Hearn, Leslie Wowk and six nieces and nephews, Joshua and Zachary Iselin, Alexi and Cassidy Nathan, Kayla and Adriana Wowk.
