Obituary of Jean Barnum
BARNUM, Jean Parsons passed away at her home in Tucson, AZ, March 3, 2017. Born as Mildred Jean Parsons September 13, 1926, to Herman and Mildred Parsons of Minneapolis. In 1975, Jean moved from Duluth Minnesota to Tucson. She worked as a travel agent for Bon Voyage Travel for over 25 years, specializing in elaborate trips around the world. She traveled to many places including Tibet, China, Japan, Africa and all throughout Europe. Though Jean was a Minnesota girl through and through, she grew to love the desert and mountains of Tucson. She maintained a wonderful spirit for all to see to the very end. We are praying in hope that our heavenly Father reunites Jean with friends and family long lost, but never forgotten. Jean is survived by her daughter, Mary Elisabeth (Charley) Reyes, of Tucson; sons, Stephen G. (Murlene) Barnum of Duluth and David C. (Susan) Barnum of Lake Bluff, Ill.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
