Obituary of Rose Sparacino

SPARACINO, Rose 92, passed away on February 7, 2017. Born in Brooklyn, NY on September 9, 1924 to Charles and Mary Montaperto. She raised her family in Maspeth, NY and lived in Jamaica Estates, NY. Rose embarked on a new adventure when she moved to Tucson, AZ in 2004 to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She was deeply religious, generous, self-sacrificing and had a passionate love for her family. Rose loved Broadway shows, black and white movies and Frank Sinatra. A highlight of her life was when she had the opportunity to travel to Italy. Rose is survived by her son, Dr. Richard Sparacino (Mari); daughter, Joanne Insalaco (Joseph); five grandchildren, Kristine Arrieta Johnson (Eugene), Marissa Sparacino (David), Serena Sparacino, Dayna Pielacha (Michael) and Joseph Sparacino. She adored her four great-grandchildren, Shane Johnson, Ethan Earnest, Ryan Johnson and Luke Earnest. Memorial Service to be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Shrine or Best Friends Animal Society.
