Obituary of Robert G Benoit

BENOIT, Robert G. 84, died Sunday, December 4, 2016 after a short fight with cancer. He was born January 20, 1932 in Grafton, Massachusetts; served 20 years in the Army as a Medical Specialist; then spent many happy years working with the Cleveland Indians and the Colorado Rockies. He is survived by one sister, Blanche Ragaini; three sons, Robert Benoit Jr., Vernon Benoit, Bill Assenmacher; four daughters, Lynn Zollin, Karen Wasilk, Patti Taylor and Nancy Smith; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two loving wives, Frances K. (Knapp) and Beth (Assenmacher) and one son, David Assenmacher. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society .
