Obituary of Rose Marie Kelly

KELLY, Rose Marie (Castagna) of Tucson, AZ passed away peacefully on November 11, 2016. She was born in Ironwood, MI on September 22, 1914 to Charles and Christina Castagna. Rosie received her B.S. degree from University of Wisconsin and taught Biology and Physical Education. She became a Physical Therapy Technician and worked with Polio patients. Rosie met Jim Kelly in Tombstone, AZ and they were married for 52 years. Rosie was very active in the WAAIME, a mining auxiliary. She loved golfing, volunteering, working in the community, and family. She is survived by her nephews, Tony Castles, Michael Markowski, Johnny Markowski and William Markowski. Also, her nieces, Connie Castles, Rosanne Thompson, Tina Rogers and many great and great-great- nieces and nephews. The Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held at St. Odilia Catholic Church on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass at Holy Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Casa de los Niños of Tucson, AZ. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.
