I remember how jolly his laugh was, and how much he loved making others smile. Grandad was always happy to do things for others, and he loved to spend time with his family. I distinctly remember a time when Gram and Grandad still lived in their old house, and he woke me up to make breakfast with him. I remember him sauting onions, and that smell has always reminded me of him since. He always had a way of lighting up the room, and was so talented with drawing. I remember once when he was staying in my room, he drew a "one eyed cat" as a present for me, which made me laugh endlessly. He was always kind and considerate of others and loved each and every one of us dearly. Even when he was in hospice, he still made sure I knew he loved me. I sang him a song, which I know sing when I think of him, and after I was finished, even though he couldn't speak, he grunted to let me know he liked it. I miss him dearly and he will forever be in my heart. I love you, Grandad, and I miss you so much.
