Obituary of Gilbert Gomez Islas

ISLAS, Gilbert "Gibo" Gomez passed away on November 1, 2016, age 54, surrounded by family in Tucson, AZ. He was a proud Navy Veteran, fun loving and free spirited. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; parents, Filiberto and Elda; brothers, Fili (Kelly), William (Dana), Richard (Natalie), and Ronald (Jill); children, Gilbert (Megan), Brian (Chinnu), and Kristen; stepchildren, Ricardo and Antonio (Eva); and his grandchildren, Carter, Teagan, Melody, and Michael. His Memorial Services will be held at Adair Funeral Homes at 8090 N. Northern Ave. in Oro Valley on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at Shriner's at 450 S. Tucson Blvd. from 12:00 p.m. -4:00 p.m. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES.
