Obituary of Eric G. Telfer

Eric G. Telfer, 54, passed away suddenly on Oct. 11, 2016, in Tucson. Eric was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Arizona. After graduation, Eric became an English teacher at Nogales High School in 1995 where he remained until his death. Eric was a passionate teacher who dedicated his life to his students and profession. Eric also enjoyed hiking and the outdoors, and he developed a great personal knowledge of plants and their care. He was also loved to travel, especially by train. Eric is survived by his parents, Catherine and Gordon Telfer, and his sister Christine Telfer in Pittsburgh. A memorial service is being held at Nogales High School and a subsequent internment in Pittsburgh.
