Obituary of Les Hoppel
HOPPEL, Les Mainenance Supervisor On the morning of September 30, 2016, Les passed into the arms of the Lord after a very courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his soulmate and wife, JoAnn; sister, Mary and son, John and so many dear friends and family. A very accomplished man, Army Veteran of Viet Nam serving in Cu Chi from 1965-1967 and earned many special commendations, decorations. A special man that could work on anything with finesse. Gifted, passionate, patient, kind, warrior, with such character and integrity. Dedicated and intensely loyal to those he loved and served. He touched so many lives and chose his friends carefully. You always knew where you stood with him. He had many passions - dirt biking, Harley riding, hunter, fisherman, sharpshooter, Dart Champion, Dallas Cowboys fan, loved the throttle. He was very proud of his 40 years working for R&R and helping to build it into the company that it is today. Les shared many of his skills with others. Les leaves behind a legacy beyond compare and will be forever deeply missed. A Celebration of his life will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Please feel free to share your memories and stories.
