Obituary of Rosalie Cooper
COOPER, Rosalie Rosalie Cooper was born on November 2, 1942 and passed away peacefully in the arms of her husband on the morning of September 17, 2016. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, godmother and a really awesome family oriented Nana whose family now carries her memory in their hearts that were shaped by her unconditional love. She is affectionately known to all as Nana. Rosalie Cooper graduated from Salpointe in 1962 and soon after, married her high school sweetheart, Louie Cooper. She is survived by their two daughters, Judith and Elizabeth, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Her life was dedicated to her family and she enjoyed family vacations, Halloween, sci-fi, horror movies, the energy of her garden, Yoda and being the life of many family events. Services will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016, viewing 11:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church at 300 S. Tucson Blvd., followed by burial at Holy Hope Cemetery 3555 N. Oracle Rd. and reception at the residence of 3364 E. 24th St. Her family will carry her light within them to shine upon the world.
