Obituary of Rayburn L Williamson

WILLIAMSON, Rayburn L. Colonel, USA (Ret.) Ray passed away August 10, 2016 at the age of 84 from a degenerative brain disease, PSP. He was born in Springfield, IL. He is survived by loving wife of ten years, Dolores "Dode" Green Williamson and his sisters, Betty and Dorothy. Ray had a distinguished 26-year career in the US Army Corps of Engineers, including tours in Vietnam and Saudi Arabia. He was proud of his five years working as Chief Project Engineer for construction of Denver International Airport. In 1999 Ray retired to Oro Valley, AZ, enjoying many rounds of golf with friends. Dode and her family express heartfelt gratitude to Ray's many caregivers, especially Jean Tenzca and Lupita Altamirano. Ray will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery.
