Obituary of Betty Mae Novak

Betty Mae Novak Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother is now with the Lord. She lived an active 89 years and left us on July 24, 2016. Betty will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Norman and survived by sons Mark (Theresa) and Peter (Beth), grandchildren Nick, Luke, Sam, Phoenix, Michael (Stacy), and Cathy (Ryan) and five great grandchildren. Betty was born in Chicago, lived most of her life in the Midwest, and made Tucson her home for the last 25 years. An active member of her church, she volunteered with the church library, rummage sale, and food for the needy programs. She enjoyed the arts, travelling, cooking, shopping, reading, and the company of friends and family. A memorial service for Betty will be held on Tuesday, August 2 at 10 am at Casas Adobes Congregational Church, 6801 N Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Casa de la Luz Hospice.
