Obituary of Robert Reed

REED, Robert "Bob" and Marian Bob, born April 23, 1927, laid down his tools for the last time on July 9, 2016 losing his battle with cancer. Bob and Marian, originally from Iowa, came to AZ in 1951. They started in Marana where Bob worked for cotton producers running their Avra Valley gin. Bob retired from Tucson Gas and Electric after 30 years. Marian passed away November 19, 2007. Bob leaves behind daughter, Terri Tucker; Surprise, AZ, Donna and Donnie Mattausch; granddaughters, Sandy Sanders, Kristy Hansen; great-grandsons, Anthony and Colton French; a large group of extended family and friends. Bob never met a stranger. He had a love of life and people. There will be a Celebration of Bob's Life Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Donnie and Donna's place, starting at 4:00 p.m. All smiles are welcome, no tears.
