Obituary of Dorris Laverne Tretschok

DORRIS LAVERNE TRETSCHOK Born November 3, 1937 to Ray and Ruth Laramore, in St. Louis, MO. The family moved to Arizona in the mid 1940's and landed in Tucson in the mid 1950's. Graduated from Tucson High School in 1955. Married Carl Tretschok Jr on June 1st, 1963. Carl and Dorris were truly partners for life. They worked together in many successful business ventures and civil activities. Their goal was always to make the world a better place. They touched countless lives by their love and compassion. The world IS a better place because of them. Dorris enjoyed many activities including sewing, cooking, fishing, gardening, and sailing. In fact, she volunteered with the Coast Guard auxiliary at one point. She enjoyed learning, and earned a paralegal degree in 1992. She was an avid sports fan and loved to follow her Arizona Wildcats. But she was most proud of being Carl's wife and Tiffany, Eden and Trent's mom. Dorris battled declining health for several years, and died peacefully on July 10, 2016 in her home that she loved. Preceded in death by husband Carl, and son Trent. Survived by daughters Tiffany (Chris) Vaughn, Eden Tretschok, brother Gary (Danette) Laramore, and grandsons Dylan and Griffyn Vaughn. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Adair Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge, Tucson, AZ 85716. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m., concluding with a brief graveside service at Binghampton Cemetary, 3945 N. ALvernon, Tucson, AZ. 85718.
