Obituary of John Paul Greene

GREENE, John Paul "JP", of Tucson, AZ passed away suddenly on May 29, 2016 at the age of 73. JP, as he was known, spent his life in service to his community. Born in 1942, he was raised in southern California where he attended Fontana High School and later Chaffey Junior College in Alta Loma, CA. In the early 1960's he joined the United States Navy where he served as Chief Petty Officer as a Firefighter and Corpsman during the Vietnam era. Following an honorable discharge in 1966, he went on to give the balance of his life as a EMT/Paramedic serving communities in California, Flagstaff and Tucson through the private sector EMS agencies from 1966 until his retirement in 2013. He is survived by his partner of more than 30 years, Edwin R. Krammer; several half siblings, cousins and many, many friends. Thank you JP for the life of service, the lives saved, and the opinions generated. You will be missed. JP will be buried at sea per his wishes.
